Rock Engineering and Testing Laboratory, Inc. was established on March 16th, 1998 by Mr. and Mrs. Mark and Roetta Rock. Rock Engineering provides Geotechnical Engineering, Geotechnical and Environmental Drilling, and Construction Materials Testing services. Rock Engineering is an accredited Engineering Laboratory in testing soils, concrete, and hot mix asphaltic concrete by the American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO). The firm has two locations: its headquarters in Corpus Christi, Texas and an office in San Antonio, Texas. In the Corpus Christi/Coastal Bend area, Rock Engineering is the largest Engineering Laboratory, with thirty employees. Rock Engineering's team includes a highly qualified and experienced technical and support staff that includes two Professional Engineers in Corpus Christi and one Professional Engineer in San Antonio. The Engineer Technician staff includes experienced personnel with various training, qualifications, and certifications including NICET, American Concrete Institute (ACI), Hot Mix Asphaltic Concrete testing and design, Radiation Safety, and various refinery safety training. |
